Envisioning - by Pat Krenik

Seeking the magical moment when
The world falls in perspective again.
Where in relation to me it has proper size,
Where in relation to others it's still the prize.
Three universes here, and in the now,
Mine is Clear, but then I see,
You and others connected to me.
Joined by some odd denominator,
Some ancient to us restimulator,
Probably down the body line
We all were fishes, set to dine
On others swimming around the sea
Each of them thinking, I am me.
Earlier yet, when we contrived
Life to create a form to survive
Theta purposes crossed the lines,
We each conceived of different designs.
At war we are now with the human race,
Some see it as good, some as a disgrace.
It tracks on the body line you see,
To earlier clashes between you and me.
Have I known you here-to-fore?
Was that you with the club at my cave door?
Did I take a bite off your flipping tail?
Did we struggle over a tasty snail?
In the stream of life these things are known,
Recorded in our very bone.
Communicated telepathically
From one to another by our G.E.
Connections, connections, connections I see
But few, if any, belong to me.
So back up this track to present time
To travel a different Theta Line
The one that has to do with me,
The one that has to do with thee.
The game that has to do with we
Plotting our future destiny.
What we do now, in this moment of life,
Can bring great joy, or unwanted strife.
It's how one looks at things to be,
That resolves our own eternity.
