it was started in 1983 by sarge gerbode and david mayo.  you would have to go to the website.  it is a group that has done wonders for others AND has won against the c of s and can never be harrassed by them again.  they won a huge lawsuit against the church in the 80's and the court passed that the material they were using could not be sued for by the c of s, even though it was the same general jist as the grades, etc.  but sarge and dave ingeniously changed small words such as and and a and is, etc. so they were not identical but kept the same meaning and result.  anyway, if you want to know more, they have a website.  lots of ex class 6 thru 12's are with them and produce great wins for their students and clients.  they call what they do "viewing" and the person doing the viewing is called a facilitator.  an example of this is:  to achieve the results of dianetics they run what they call traumatic incident reduction and unblocking is a procedure that handles a severely arc broken person, they use meters, correction lists, etc.  they just had to make it work and are at present the only group out there that is doing what ron and the early c of s had postulated along the lines of helping others WITHOUT being in any way connected to the name or any of the terms of scientology.  they are completely independent and do not mention the words or any of the terms used by the c of s.  all is in understandable lingo so you never have to handle any considerations about what it is or it being connected to a cult, etc.  this has far reaching effects in that they have trained and still train people who are already psychologists to apply sane principles and these are able to help people who ordinarily could not afford it as they take insurance.  sarge gerbode is a class 8 auditor and is also a psychiatrist and i think all know who david mayo is.  he was ron's best friend and a class XII, as well as senior c/s international for the c of s up until 1983, when he was declared by david miscavige and company.  they are extremely professional in every way and do not engage in name calling or downing and invaling others, etc. as was my recent experience with some of the terminals still connected to the old church ideas and dramas.  all in all, i love the group and they are who i am currently getting my "enhancement" with.
