etc.
first of all i changed the caption at the top as it is a new
subject but answers the one from doandhave about how most orgs are NOT nazi
concentration camps. was this post for the purpose of the PI asking
you questions so as to look like you thought the c of s was really an ok place
with just a few glitches that would soon be ironed out? lol.
our class 4 org was invaded by missionaires wearing armbands and sending
every exec to folo east us regardless of what condition they were in to do lower
condidtions. i was one of them as i was tech sec. when i got to folo
i was shown a room with no windows, one large mop sink at the end of it,
constantly dripping and rusted out, a swinging door into a shower that was like
a prison shower and stank to high heaven like urine and mold. the main
room had one lightbulb in the center of the room. there were 7 beds, 3 on
one side, 4 on the other. no sheets and the mattresses were those 2
inch ones for cots and were stained and gross beyond belief. this was
supposed to be my "berthing." i just laughed walked out and went back and
told the purser she must be crazy if she thought i was going to sleep there as
prisoners had better accomodations. she was dead serious and said that is
where the rpfer's slept. needless to say that was my last day in the
c of s, i walked out and got out my credit card and got a room at the ramada a
couple of blocks away and next morning i left and never looked back.
unfortunately not all people who get themselves into that mess have a
credit card and can just head right over to the nearest ramada so there are
stuck right where they are. i went up with the dissem sec, the HES and the
HAS. none of them had a dime and just had to endure it as they thought
there "eternity" was at stake if they did not do as they were told. i
never even got declared - nothing.
at that time i had realized that all the media on scientology had not
been wrong. time magazine back then had an article about the staff
conditions in scientology and i was one of those rabidly disagreeing people who
would fight to the death for how right the c of s was and that all the articles
were just lie upon lie. boy did i learn my lesson the hard
way. the c of s, of course, tries to keep these things
secret. and it is not just the upper orgs, we at the dc org went through
hell as staff members. in the c of s, the more money you have to give the
reg, the better you are treated. when i was in LA, pricilla
presley would arrive and the staff would roll out a red carpet to her
car, have dozens of roses ready to hand her and this was just cause she was
coming in for a review session. what crap. talk about kissing ass
and catering to people with money. bill franks once said (while he
was the ED of our org in DC) that people should pay through the nose for
scientology. they were all scum and because of all their overts they
needed to crawl and beg for their freedom and that is why the rich were catered
too, because they were "upstat" and have lots of money. there goes that
"stat" thing again. lol. you get fed this long enough and you
believe it. even if you don't know you believe, you do, trust me, i did,
until i really examined this data.
it is amusing to see someone in the FZ defend the c of s most of us are out
here cause we did not agree with things like the pay, the way it treated
its staff, the heavy ethics, etc. and the general insanity of it
all. these things are NOT past things, it is all PT for current
staff. i have a friend that recently left the SO, same shit, different
day, only by his description things are worse now as most of the theta has been
replaced with pure force, at least it used to be mixed. staff NEVER gets
up the bridge by the way, either on the tech training side or the auditing
side. if one does it is a rare case indeed. a snowball's chance in
hell. most are there because they think if they do not do
scientology they will die or their eternity is shot or some such rot. i
know i was one of those. kind of like if someone tells you OT3 data you
will get sick and die. that is so crazy. i have never known one
person who saw the data and got sick, let alone died. not to mention that
ron wrote a screen play called revolt in the stars describing the OT3 incident
to a tee and no one in hollywood wanted to buy it. travolota was trying
like hell to promote it but they got no takers so it sits in the screenplay
archives waiting for anyone who wants to read it. i have, it is really
fun, kind of like mission earth or battlefield earth. do a search if you
think i lie, it will come up even probably authored by ron. fear is theta
killer, the mind killer. the c of s uses fear as its major control
mechanism.
i went to the org in dc a couple of years ago and pretended like i was new
to just see how things were now. first off there were only about 10 staff
in the whole (humongous) org. 2nd, there were NO students on course or in
the HGC when i visited on a saturday evening. my husband and i were shown
an intro movie. at the end of it, some guy comes up to the camera and
says: you can walk out and choose not to do scientology, but that would be
stupid. and then he turns and walks away from the camera. it was
really weird. this was at a class 4 org. so say what you will,
it is not just a few and yes the public MAY get treated well. but the
staff have no money, live in beyond squalid quarters, and do the bidding of the
blue uniforms no matter where they are. they are not there because of
subservient loyalty, there are there at first because of the promise of
wonderful things and goals that never come and then later for fear that if they
do not do what they are told they will never have these goals and worse they
will forever be in some hell because they did not do the tech or stay on
staff.
i would assume the missions do not see any of this as all the people i knew
from missions just had fun with the tech, none of the other stuff.
