The abilities tend to be sporadic.

Once a girl I was working with told me over lunch that she had been diagnosed
with cancer. She knew almost nothing about Scn. I looked into her space, found
a malevolent charge in restim, and blew it. She went back to the doctor for
tests and there was no trace of the cancer.

On another occasion I knocked a malevolent presence out of someone's space who
was about 10 miles away. Her boyfriend had told me that she was very ill with
conjunctivitus. The next day he said that she had fainted at the exact time of
my action and the infection vanished.

Another friend burnt her hand badly on an oven once. I vanished the burns by
as-isness in a couple of minutes.

My girlfriend had an employee tuning pianos who called her from the hospital
to say that he had a bad infection in his arm and that the doctor was going to
amputate it. She audited the arm remotely and he called back in an hour saying
that the infection had reduced and the doctor now said he'd recover fine
without surgery, which he did.

Sometimes machines respond to theta and entheta. I remember a rather gruimpy
C/S at Flag. One day I was walking up to chocolate milk machine and observed
him lose his money getting no milk. As I went up to put in my quarter, he said
that the machine didn't work. I said that it did, looking him in the eye with
a slight grin. I put the money in and handed him one of the 2 chocolate milks
that came out. The photocopier on the ship was particularly sensitive. On
several occasions it wouldn't work for someone else but behave perfectly when
I used it. I remeber going up to the coffee machine at DC org where a massy
individuals had tried twice to get a coffee then stood aside with
disgruntlement. I put in my money and got my coffee out. He went back and
tried again - no coffee.

Once, on the ship, I was walking on a very dark deck and postulated some light
to see better. When I went back down into the engine room a friend looked at
me and said "What is that wierd orange glow around you?" I as-ised the light
and he then saw it disappear.

Once I was running back from Clearwater beach while on the purif with a slim,
lightly built girl. We saw 4 big men trying to push a car out of a ditch. I
suggested that we go and help. I got a rather surprised look from the 4 men
when we offered to help and an even more surpised one when the car was out of
the ditch half a minute later.

I can often get peoples' attention at a distance by postulate without
speaking. I remember someone left his briefcase in the courseroom which I
noticed a few minutes later. I intended the thought that he had forgotten his
briefcase into his space. He returned shortly afterwards and smilingly said
"Thanks, I got your message!"

LRH rarely demonstrated things openly so I only heard a few 2nd hand reports.
Sometimes he would send messengers to staff on the ship with exact indications
of the bpc they were sitting in at the time. I was told by 2 people that they
had observed him as-is a distant statue and various other stories but I tend
to accept what I perceive myself. His presence was quite tangible. If he went
off the ship I would usually feel when he came back within a few hundred yards
of the ship.
