Hello Operating Dudes and Dudettes,

Well things took an interesting turn this past week. Good news and bad
news (well, not really bad news...just opens up some very interesting
possibilities.) :)

I was on vacation in the beginning of June and went to the NYC/NJ/PA
area for some fun and to see my 84 year old dad. He is doing very well
thank you, and even though not on the same spiritual path as us, I did
get to show him how a meter works and he was very impressed. Dad is a
W.W.II vet, and our history together as far as SCN goes is an
interesting one. You see, as a teen we were ALWAYS fighting. I was
pretty much stuck between 1.5 and 2.0 on the tone scale with him for a
variety of reasons. When I was in the Church, I was audited with "Book
One" by a student and even though I had my doubts that it would work, I
blew a chain that had kept me from communicating successfully with Pop.
I was so impressed by what happened that I immediately became a Book One
Auditor.

Having now further trained on a meter and learned TR's, I decided that
this trip to PA, even if I couldn't get him on a meter, I would just
listen to him and his stories, which I did pretty much for six days
straight. No arguing, just listening, my gift to him for Father's Day
Week, (and a couple of books on dogs which he loves. He has a Welsh Corgi.)

Boy, did I learn a lot!

I came away with a profound knowledge that my father was an OT in his
own right. He had overcome overwhelming odds in his life to accomplish
amazing things, and at 84 he is still healthy, uptone and enthused about
life. I also got my family "pedigree" and found out that our family
helped start the US, that we were pallbearers at George Washington's
funeral,  knew the Founding Father's personally, and that my third
cousin Margaret (Caucasian) had helped Booker T. Washington start a
school for Afro-Americans at a time when such a thing was practically
unheard of.  Dad knew Truman, reported to the Joint Chiefs Of Staff as
well as ran the Marine Corp. in the late 1940's.

This was an amazing part of the trip, and now plans are formulating for
my return to the East Coast at his request. (He has practically no one
there now, and it's time to go home and be with him.)

Now in NYC, I got my best friends wife in session. Karen had been in
therapy on and off for over 20 years and had given up on it because of
Zero results. (No surprise there.) She had been studying some things
about SCN, and so decided that auditing might be something to "try". We
were in session for 3 hours of which 2 hours and 40 minutes were just
doing Ruds and cleaning up her past ethics etc. The last 20 minutes she
hit a chain and erased it....VGI's, hysterical laughter.

When she put the cans down, she said that she had been trying to handle
that particular problem for close to 30 years. Her face looked 20 years
younger, and she was beaming ear to ear. She then asked if I could do
this for some friends of hers, and said that she would make some phone
calls and upon my return to NYC from PA, could I audit them. To my
surprise she had 8 people lined up for me on my return one week later
from PA and dad.. Unfortunately, I only had two days left to my vacation
(including a promise to my wife to see the Metropolitan Museum Of Art
and Phantom Of The Opera...probably the most perfect Play I have ever
seen,) so Karen and I made arrangements for me to return in a couple of
months, as I would need to schedule it with work to return 2700 miles
from where I lived in Nevada. She has also decided that she too wants to
be an auditor!

I returned to work all rosy and happy, and picked up my vacation money
from my tips that accumulated while I was gone. (I'm a Casino Dealer.) I
saw one of my bosses and she was thrilled that I was back and asked if
I wanted to deal a blackjack tournament the next day as one of our
dealer's mom had just dropped her body and he wouldn't be back for a
while. I dealt the tourney and then found out that our tip committee was
having a meeting with the Casino Manager later that week and we were
required to attend.

Now as some background about the place, you should know that the casino
has been having some problems, various lawsuits, Fed involvement, and
practically every decision by upper management has been to succumb and
not succeed. There are serious ethical issues at the joint by the
owners. (This is one of the last places in town still not run by a major
corporation and is owned by an individual family.)

Enter yours truly, two years ago, and I start to iron out the
communications lines, and step up to bat whenever something needed to be
done in a crisis situation. I was loved by management for my ability to
fix problems, and had moved into a position of some power and respect. I
was a stable terminal.

One of the things that I came up with was a health plan that I
administered on an individual basis because in an effort to save money,
the owner had dropped their insurance plan and stopped making
contributions to the employee's 401(k). I had privately been enrolling
people in the health plan for close to one year.

Now back to the meeting: It went well as we ironed out some problems
since the dice games and blackjack games were going to split tips
together as opposed to being separate before I had left for NYC.

The meeting boiled down to that the committee was going to consist of
only one shift doing all the work when it was two shifts prior to that.
(We split tips over a 24 hour period.) My shift for cutting tips was
eliminated, so I was looking at a drastic drop in income of about $1000
per month. I immediately asked the Casino Manager if I could switch to
the other shift and he said yes, and asked what days I wanted off. I
said the same days as my wife, and all was good and done. I had the next
two days off and enjoyed my weekend as it was the first one after coming
back home and I needed the rest.

On my Monday, I returned to work, and a note was attached to the sign in
sheet to see the Casino Manager and of course I thought this had to do
with the shift change. I found it odd that he was asking me to his
office as opposed to just talking to me then and there and after I sat
down with him this is what happened.

The Casino Manager was very quiet which was unusual for him, and then he
said "This is the hardest part of my job." Well, I knew what was coming
immediately. He continued by saying that the owners had decided that I
needed to make a choice about whether I wanted to be an insurance agent
or a dealer, and then he said the owners had decided that I was going to
be an insurance agent instead and that I was being let go. (No Choice.)

I know,..... it was a surprise to me too especially since I was pretty
sure I was in like Flynn, well liked and handling all sorts of problems
at the place. But once again the "owners" had made a "succumb" decision,
which was typical. It seems to me that they are either SP's in the
classical sense as the personnel are mainly physically sick in one way
or another, or they are very PTS. In some way, they were very threatened
by my abilities, and the way I make things happen positively for the
business.

I kept my TR's in and was very graceful and said thank you and that I
appreciated the time that I had spent at the casino, that I didn't blame
him (the Casino Manager) or the family. I did mention that I could just
stop doing the health plan at work, but he said that his hands were tied
and if it had come from any other place other than the top that he would
have fought for me, but when it comes directly from the family he really
couldn't do anything about it. That pretty much said it all right there.

I signed my discharge papers, asked if I was working that day, which of
course I wasn't, went downstairs, handed in my keys to one of the other
tip committee members and then left.

The funny thing about being "clear" is that even though there was an
initial shock, I immediately knew that this was a huge opportunity as
well. The biggest thing was telling Lyn my wife. I went home and told
her and she handled it very well, even though I had woken her from a
dead sleep.

I then set out to make sure all the bills could be paid and with the
money I had in savings, my pending unemployment check and Lyn's
paycheck  I knew that everything was going to be OK as bills could get
paid. It would be tight, but they'd be paid on time.

I called one friend and we discussed the situation, as he had left the
this particular casino as well only on his on volition. The reason being
that even though he was an excellent employee, management had a way of
always getting rid of the best people and keeping all the slugs. They
had to make a decision as to whether to back a slug or him and they
chose the slug, so he left their employ.

So now what?  Well, here's the opportunity part.

1) There is a casino that just opened in Niagara Falls, and I have put
in an application and resume, so it's possible that I could go back
there for that.

2) I started trading the S&P E-Mini on the commodities exchange as
something to pass the time, and since I've been doing technical analysis
for many years (used to be a stock broker at the World Trade Center in
the mid-1980's), I thought that perhaps I could make money there as
well. Tricky, unless you know what you are doing and can keep your
emotions in check.  Being a clear definitely helps in this area.

I didn't trade on Thursday as it was a shortened day for the markets,
but my goal was $200 to $400 per day to replace my income from the
casino. I would leave half in the account and have the rest sent to me
once per month Over the prior two days of trading, I made over $800
which was in line with my goals and I can see that I am actually going
to do quite well with it, so much so that it could be my option (no pun
intended) for making a living without ever having to step foot in a
casino again...which would be nice and give me a ton of
freedom...financial, and otherwise. (One of my goals has been to get out
of the Casino Industry all together, so now what better way to do it
than this. (Not to mention that the best way to handle a suppressive
move from one's enemies is to expand like crazy which would throw them
into apathy.  If the owners of the casino I worked for are SP's, then
this would be the best way to handle what would have been their way of
keeping me from succeeding. Expand, Expand, EXPAND!!!)

This also opens up some other things for auditing, as my schedule is
completely free and I can travel when I want to. That means that I can
be back on the East Coast when I'm needed.

Lyn, my wife, has said that she wants to train full time to audit and
now that my schedule allows this I can work with her more easily. She
has decided that auditing is a better way to make a living than
digitizing for embroidery which is a business her mom wanted to
introduce her to, and made a lot of money with last year. Lyn and I both
agree that saving mankind one person at a time is a much higher goal.

And as a side note I suppose there is a moral to this story. Ron said
that when a person goes clear, he/she will find that their "think" is
very powerful, so therefore always be aware on making an
intention/postulate solid.  Lyn said after we got back from vacation
that she didn't know how it was going to happen, but she wanted to be
back on the East Coast within a year.  Well, be careful what you wish
for, because you might just get it...and in unexpected ways. :)

Also, Bottom Line: Know The Tech And It Will Protect!

Well, just an update.

Here's to celebrating Independence Day and of course, Total Freedom.

Thanks Again Ron and Tommy!

Love,
